There are two realistic home charging options, and the difference between them is large. A Level 1 charger just uses a standard 120V household outlet, no special installation needed, but it's slow: roughly 40 to 50+ hours for a full charge on an average EV, or about 4 to 6 km of range added per hour.
Three things matter: the amperage of the circuit we install, your vehicle's maximum onboard charging rate (some vehicles cap lower than the charger can supply), and your battery's total size. We size the circuit to your vehicle and your panel's available capacity, and can walk you through realistic charging times for your specific car during the estimate.
We'll do a load assessment and tell you exactly what your panel can handle — before you commit to anything.
